FINANCIAL ASSOCIATE

Accounting
▪ Administer accounting systems and practices that comply with accounting principles and regulations.
▪ Oversee the Company’s general ledger entries to ensure accurate financial records.
▪ Monitor the approval and processing of all transactions such as revenues, expenditures, and general ledger maintenance to identify potential weaknesses and drive improvement.
▪ Oversee central accounts activities to ensure appropriate treatment of payments, contracts, accruals, and related transactions in line with internal and statutory controls.
▪ Review all financial transactions and recording processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, Zakat, and tax calculations and reporting.
▪ Manage accounts payable and accruals activities to ensure effective processing of invoices and thorough documentation, analysis, and reconciliation of relevant data.
▪ Ensure timely and accurate cost allocation of transactions/payments to respective entities, facilitating efficient cost control.
▪ Review all required reconciliation to ensure the transactions accuracy within SIC books.
▪ Lead the periodic closing process.
▪ Collaborate with various departments to collect financial data and ensure the data is complete.
Financial Reporting
▪ Develop and implement a financial reporting system to provide accurate and timely consolidated reports for SIC.
▪ Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements (monthly, quarterly, yearly), ensuring accurate recording of revenues, expenses, and account reconciliations.
▪ Analyze complex financial issues related to budgets and departmental operations, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
▪ Collaborate with department heads to develop tools that enhance financial reporting and projections.
▪ Monitor expenditures against approved levels, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions to ensure effective performance and cost control.
▪ Prepare cash flow reports and forecasts.
▪ Provide support and analysis for treasury-related decision-making.
▪ Ensure preparation of reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet the departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
▪ Support Director of Finance and Accounting in all required tasks.

Investment Operations
▪ Support the investment operation role, including managing capital calls and returns from funds, monitoring and analyzing portfolio reporting and investment performance in a periodical basis.
▪ Support on maintaining accurate records of all investment transactions.
▪ Prepare investment reports for management and stakeholders.

Policies, System, Processes and Procedures
▪ Provide input into the development and implementation of Finance and Accounting policies, systems, processes, and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement, to support an efficient and effective operation.
▪ Lead the process of updating Finance and Accounting policies and procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.
▪ Ensure compliance with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions within own area related to all relevant regulatory directives to promote a safe and risk-free environment.

Safety, Quality & Environment
▪ Ensure the application of safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality product/service and a responsible attitude.

▪ 5-7 Years of experience in accounting, or Financial Reporting.
▪ Experience with financial analysis in a corporate environment.
